MTC Northwest are specialists for DAF Trucks, HINO Motors & Foden Trucks, and are Maintenance & Parts providers for All Makes of Commercial Vehicles.
MTC started business in September 1977, trading as Steve Gray (Motor Engineers) Ltd. The family business expanded in the early nineties and were appointed Foden Main Dealers with depots in Liverpool & Manchester, and so MTC Northwest was born.
Due to increased sales the company moved into a brand new purpose built workshops in Knowsley in 2001 and in 2005 we become a parts and service dealer for DAF Trucks unfortunately Foden Trucks announced its retirement, which left a massive void in our business. Not long after the Foden retirement we were approached to look at the new Toyota owned HINO product and after visiting their production line in Dublin, we were in no doubt as to what we had to do. We took on the HINO Franchise for Liverpool & Manchester and for our second year running we have broken our company record for new vehicle sales
We have recruited some of the best young talent for our management structure and believe we have the right tools and products to be the very best multi franchise dealership in the country
Keeping the family values, the founder Steve Gray (Managing Director) still runs the company with his son Stephen (General Manager & Director) & his daughters Karen (Finance Director) & Jenny (Service Reception Manager & Director) also on the board of Directors is John French, (Sales Director).
